I created this WordPress plug-in to fetch the Facebook Profile Picture of users and commenter on your site that choose to use their Facebook Profile Link as their URL.
NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH WORDPRESS:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nnd-facebook-profile-for-gravatar/
I installed your Facebook plugin but the pictures dont resize themselves to fit in the admin bar
The WordPress CSS in the Admin bar portion is overriding the proportions for the image. I’m trying to work it out now and if I can figure it out I’ll release 1.8
1.8 HAS BEEN RELEASE AND FIXES PROBLEMS WITH THE ADMIN BAR
Is this plugin only adding the image to the adminbar? Or is it also supposed to edit the avatar on a comment of someone who had entered their facebooklink in their profile? Because when i test it it won’t work?
So long as you don’t have any conflicting plug-ins this will work for anyone who has entered their profile link as their URL.
Anywhere you call get_avatar();
can we add option of croping 7 resize facebook avatar image ?
because most user have their long image
when it fit to avatar it look very bad
please help me
Agradecer la implementación en plugins
Thank you very significantly!! It is rather good ~
This works great except for when an author is displayed. It still shows the default gravitar.
Author.php in the twentyeleven theme has this line which is not working properly:
Please advise as this is the only bit not working correctly.
Hey Rob,
Sorry I’ve just gotten to this, I didn’t get a chance to see this til now. Do you still have an issue?
Great little plugin!! Tried it, blogged it, and it works great! I’m going to play around in the admin code a bit and add some icons for fun. Thanks!!
Thanks, it works mighty fine on my WP-site. Question though, the image-quality is really low. Do you have an idea to adjust this. TiA!!

Bart, Facebook is constantly changing the ways in which you can interact with them… There was an issue at one time with gigantic images for this plugin which was causing excessive load times and my only option then was either the super huge or the small one I have it load now. I will look into updates and get back to you!
